General information on how we handle your data
1. Which data does NETZSAVE collect?
In theory, you are able to visit our online presence without providing us with any personal data. If you decide to use any of our advanced services, we will need the following data from you: When logging into one of our Internet access services:
Forename, surname, address and phone number plus all specified item and contact data. We will not be able to process your registration or enquiry without this data.
The following section describes how NETZSAVE uses files known as cookies.
What are cookies? Cookies are alpha-numeric ID characters, which we transfer to your computer using your online browser. They enable our systems to distinguish your browser from other browsers on a temporary basis. The help function in the menu bar in most online browsers explains how to set up your browser so that it does not accept any cookies or only accepts a limited number of cookies. The help function also tells you how to configure your browser so that it tells you when your computer is offered a cookie. Unfortunately, you can only use the full functionality of our website when you accept our cookies.

3. Why does NETZSAVE use your data?
We do not sell your registration data or disclose it to third parties without your authorization for other economic reasons. NETZSAVE informs interested parties about the range of services offered by the company. To enable us to process a request for Internet access and provide the customer with technical access, we need the data specified under item 1. To provide you with as comprehensive a service as possible, we also use your data to send you suitable additional information, which is needed to establish the foundation for, adapt the content of or modify a contractual relationship. This means that the user’s consent is not needed to offer advice regarding the structure or modification of a contractual relationship. We also use your data to the extent required to implement and process any contractual relationships, for instance for sending invoices or making contact should problems arise. Finally, we use all participants’ data to effectively counteract any abuse related to our services in the interests of the user and to protect our customers against damage in these cases.
4. Is NETZSAVE permitted to disclose your data to other parties?
Apart from in the cases specified under Item 3, we do not disclose your data to third parties. However, in exceptional circumstances, we may be legally required to disclose your personal data to third parties, for example in the case of official criminal proceedings. Some companies offer services that are related to NETZSAVE. If you use these services and disclose personal data while doing so or give your permission for your data to be stored, the use of your data is subject to this company’s data protection rules.
5. How do others handle your data?
Unless specified otherwise, these principles relate exclusively to our use of your personal data. Please note: Insofar as you disclose your data to third parties – be it to providers or consumers on our website or on other websites – your data may be used for different purposes by these parties.

There is also the chance that users who are based outside of the European Union may appear on our website. Please therefore note that the chances of your disclosed contact data being processed outside of the EU cannot be completely ruled out.
